Good websites for Charity Rides and other similar events

I am trying to create a repository of websites useful for charity events and rides. This shall keep growing as and when i get to know about new sites and links. Please let me know if you come across any, and i shall have them updated as we go.

Bike Events : This is a really cool organisation and they organise most of your big London - (various places) rides through out the year. Doing the Southend, Cambridge, Windsor and Hastings ride with them this year. Check out their website for more details.

Charity Challenge : This website is really awesome for international and world wide expeditions - both treks and rides. I am doing the Cuban revolution with them, and hoping it would be an experience of a life time for me..!

Bamboo frames : Highly regarded as the best frame for bikes, although a bit pricey at £2095..!

Land's End to John O'Groats Cycle: Cycling from Lands End to John o'Groats, the furthest possible distance in the British Isles, is a classical challenge that many dream of. Click on the above link to be a part of it in May 2011.

Why Cycle? :
  • Are you interested in getting a new cycle?
  • are you struggling on getting real advice on buying your first bike?
  • Are you confused by all the technical jargon?
  • Would you like to get honest, impartial advice to help you choose a bike?
  • You are the right place. Click on the above link to take you directly to Why Cycle.?

Compare Cycle Products :  A great place to compare Cycle products and the relevant websites that enable you to buy them. compares wiggle/chain reaction/alpine/rutland/Evans/aw cycles etc.
bikepimp.Com :  Another great cycle comparison website to checkout. Slicker website..

Crank up your bike..!  - A bike site with a difference. A perfect place to check out cycling with a difference.!

Recycle your bike : Recycle your old unused bikes here. Help in reducing the Carbon Footprint and promote cycling.

London Cyclists Campaign : Great community website for cyclists in London to join. There is an initial joining fee, but mostly once you join, all the rides are free, depending on which borough you reside in.

London Bicycle repairs :  A great little (inexpensive..!) shop to repair your bikes, near the Soutwark area. situated behind Southwark tube station. Highly recommended.

(More to follow... Please leave a comment of suggestions if you do know any that i have missed in the above list)
